Protecting ad Preserving our National Parks with the NPCA

The National Parks Conservation Association will present this program on their work here in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. In addition to telling us about the projects in Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway, they will discuss efforts to protect places like Cumberland Island National Seashore, Arkansas' Buffalo National River, and Ocmulgee National Monument. In addition, information will be provided on NPCA's work in other regions of the country, and on Capitol Hill. If you are interested in the work going on to protect our National Parks don't miss this chance to learn and ask questions! Bonus: Pictures from the recent "Candid Critters" program will be highlighted so you will get to see what interesting animals are roaming around Haywood County!

No Registration Required.
